Eileen trained with Niall O’Flynn (Galway) and Master Wang Hai Jun (Manchester) in Chen style. When Eileen started to teach, Eileen changed styles to the Sun style of tai chi. Eileen trained under Dr Paul Lam’s programme for Sun style and also with Dave Whitfield (Roscommon) and Standwood Chang (Boston). However, when Eileen first saw the Yang style of tai chi, she was smitten.
Eileen trained under Jo Pender (Galway) to learn the Yang form, as introduced by Gerda Geddes to England in the 1960s, and Dave Whitfield for the yang sword form.
'Eileen has also studied with Ken Cohen of qigonghealing.com. Eileen became captivated by Qigong and it’s 4,000 year history and she started training with Lee Holden Qigong in March 2021. Eileen is now a certified Qigong teacher of Holden Qigong. Eileen has also just completed her Tai Chi certification with Masters Faye and Tary Yip of Deyin Institute in Telford England as well as Qigong certifications from the British Health Qigong Association in 8 Brocades and 6 Healing sounds health routines. She is currently studying with Master Wing Cheung discovering the world of Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi.
